"I asked Gillian Curtis to fulfil the role of Coach Supervisor around the end of my formal Powerchange Gold Coach training as by that stage I was seeing up to ten clients a week and was encountering a number of new and unusual coaching scenarios. I felt it would be helpful to have an experienced coach with supervisory qualifications to oversee what I was doing.

Her experience meant that instead of simply delivering advice, she assisted me to explore things for myself, establishing what my goals were and how to access them. Her three two hour sessions with me were conducted on Skype which was helpful as over two hours of travelling was avoided. This showed flexibility and innovation on both our parts!

She encouraged me to reflect on specific courses of action and experiences in order to learn from them and encouraged me to ask meaningful questions to engender learning and greater curiosity. She was particularly helpful on helping me sent development goals and business priorities and was always on hand to give helpful feedback in between sessions. A highlight was asking me to sit the chair used by one of my clients in order to understand better how they felt about being coached by me. An enlightening experience!

All in all, the six hours I spent with Gillian were highly fruitful ones. She is a sensitive, insightful and above all, encouraging Coach Supervisor."
